Lk Osoyoos?

Anyone ever been to lk Osoyoos on the WA/Canada border? I have heard its a good smallie lake, but cant find much info about it at all. I will be camping there mid July.

A few years back, i fished little silver trout spinner bait and caught 15 off the dock in about half an hour, nothing big, but i wasnt using that big of a lure.

Watch out for Oggie-Poggie, or at least make sure you have the sturgon pole ready I saw a show on Discovery about lake mosters most of it was about Loch Ness, of course, however 15mins for on OggiePoggie in Lake Osoyoos.

If you do fish this lake without a Canadian fishing license, be sure you do it south of the border. The lake is split between the good ol' USA and Canada with Canada owning 3693 surface acres to the north. There are no signs telling you that you are entering a foreign country. One way to determine the boundry is the prominent point on the west shoreline appropiately named "Boundry Point." A Canadian fishing license is required to fish on the Canadian side of that point. Ken Williams, the area fish biologist, said the rule is strictly enforced. The fishing is great on the American side however. Good luck and tight lines.

ill be in the campground and likely banking it so I dont see myself drifting to Canada :D
