It brought a lot of guys out that normally do not fish in tournaments, and I think that is great for the sport. Boat problems suck, but at least you were able to get out there and fish most of the day. Way to stick it out. One more thing. I don't know how you had your contestant banner on, but just in case you were not aware, when you have engine problems, turn your banner inside out. I believe that is what he was trying to say in case you didn't know.
Thanks,..no I didn't know about the banner,..but thanks anyways,..we still had fun in the Tourney and ended up getting out about 8 am so it wasn't 2 bad,..LOL. Next year!

Whether you take it personal or not is up to you, I was just trying to make a point that you guys needed to be doing something other than throwing cranks or “swims” for this tournament. I think it is cool that you guys headed out for the tournament and gave it your best and like you said, it was for the kids and the donation! I am not taking anything personal so don’t worry about me. I know my fishing abilities and whether anyone else thinks so, I don’t care.

BB-
I don’t think motor problems was hilarious, it was how you missed the blast off with #1 draw and then tried to come back through traffic, if you didn’t know how a blast off took place you should have asked. And like others have said, u turn it inside out to signal a problem so others can help (or avoid you at a blast off). And by the way, we landed 6 BASS in our boat during the tournament, not one… I am sorry about your cousin also and that you had to take off early.

All in all, point made. Going back to retirement but might pull a Brett Farve later down the road…
Dude we threw the Tackle-Box at those fish,..what makes you think that all we threw were Cranks/Swims? We had our plastics working just like everyone else. Although I didn't know how the Blast-Off worked I was bothered by the fact that my motor was acting up,..maybe I should have asked but didn't think about it,..thanks for clarifying,..now that we have 1 under our belts @ least we'll know what the procedures are,..LOL,..thanks for the comment on my cousin,..it's appreciated! We'll be there next year!!!!!!

it was good meeting you BassinBomber , you and BB are okay in my book .. And dont worry about "dock talk" thats just part of the game ..LOL ..I looking forward to seeing you guys next year .. I think it's crazy that you "called it" that morning , the last thing you said to me was the 18th was your lucky day and that you would be the first boat out ..lol .. We also put on a open tourney on Lk Sammamish in March , so just keep casting and compete when u want to all the smaller things will work themselves out ...

Dez,
6lb winning bag...? Ouch! Especially for the sticks you have in you club. I hope my last minute advice to you helped. See ya around. I'll probably be back out on Washington for a couple more weeks fun fishin'.
