Last bass trip of the year... where to go?

Post by AaronE » Mon Oct 13, 2008 10:33 pm

I'm off the next two days and it looks like those will be the last days I'll probably get to go bassin' this year. Way too much going on this Fall #-o

So, where are they biting? The full moon is tomorrow (the 14th) and it's time to get the float tube wet one more time before packing it up for the winter.

Anyone else going out on the 14th or 15th?

I wish I had one of the two days off. I am going to hit the wter tonight after I get off work of a couple of hours as it seems the rain is going to keep way for the evening. Hoping the clouds keep parted and give me some moonlight to lengthen the fishing light a bit.
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.

How'd you end up doing? If you are free tomorrow I managed to get the day off and might take the tube out and throw some swimbaits. Figure I'd make fishing into a forearm work out

How about McIntosh-Thurston County. I know theres tons of other amazing bass lakes but this is the first one that comes to mind for me. I love this place,I have no idea why I don't fish here more often.

Still some good action and hungry bass out there guys! Tommorrow could be your lucky day. Should be some decent fall weather. Allot of lakes will be closed next week!
