Swim Baits
Quick question for you "Bass-Turdz", do you Washington guys ever use the 12'' Rainbow Huddleston Deluxe? I live in the Central Valley of California 1/2 the year and all my buddies down here just drool over these baits. They seem to lose them all the time, leaving huge dents in their wallets. But then again we have DD's so not sure how the WA bass are. Here is a hunry "Hudd Fish" as they call it.--S

You mean the 8" Hudd right? They dont make 12" that I know of. There is a couple of us on here, but there really isnt too many up here that do.
Where you be in CA? I grew up in the Fresno area. Grew up fishin Eastman and Hensley.

There was a 12 inch Hudd at one time.
Throw the Deluxe Stanford, you won't be disappointed. I have a few of them, but I keep throwing the 6 inch. Keep on posting the pics of the beasts you catch too, we love to see fish from big bass country.

RE:Swim Baits
I couldn't resist to put this picture up after Chris B's response to our Cali Bass. This is Jim with his 3rd DD bass 12.94 lbs. Out of Coyote Lake in California. To me this is truly an amazing fishery, we have big bass in our own back yards. You guys should come down here, wish I had some salmon buddies to kick some bass. My dad brings the new North River to California sometimes, and you should see the stares we get fishing bass in the Salmon boat. You can just see why they call them "Pigs", from this shot. And you guessed it on the Huddleston. Take care and I hope she spawned probably produced a million fry--S

RE:Swim Baits
Just wanted 2 show that even with the smaller Swimbaits (4") you never know what's gonna hit your bait,..when this RBT hit I seriously thought it was a Bucketmouth,..RBT went a little shy of 4 LBS! Hey I realize it's not a Bass but just trying 2 reinforce the SWIMBAIT side of Bassin!
"Swimbait fishing is easy. So many times I get people coming up to me and asking what is the secret. There isn't one. You just have to commit. Pick a day and do it all day. You will be amazed what you can learn in one whole day of throwing it. Pick a slow sinker and just roll down the bank, keep your eyes peeled and hold on". {Quote==Matt Newman,..So-Cal Pro Bass Angler}

Nice RBT. I have a pretty good collection of swimbaits but just havent gotten aroudn to tossing them because I fish mostly weedy lakes and just now got 2 wake jr's so hopefully this sunday I will be able to toss some. I love watching them when reeling them in. Its amazing how much action you can get on them.

RE:Swim Baits
I just received two 4" rainbow trout megabait swimbaits and two 4" megabait perch and I tested out the rainbows, backed with some rainbow trout pro-cure and they hit'm surprisingly well, even with these cold temps we've had the last few days. I can't wait for the water to warm up so I can see what they'r like when the fishin's hot!!!!!!
I must say, they weren't the top producers of the day, but that's to be expected with the cold water I'd imagine as these are float/suspenders.
