Should I reserve a room even though I don't have a team member yet or should I wait. Because if I don't get one, that would suck. Maybe I could come down and watch or maybe judge if I don't get a partner?????? Let me know. Thanks,

Cody

I would suggest you call the resort and see how booked they are. Maybe it's not something you really need to worry about, they can let you know. When I called for my room less than a month ago, there were still plenty of rooms open.

Just a thought,

PAD :fish:

Cody,
I'd make the call like PAD said. Then you'd know. The weekend of the event is the 1st or 2nd weekend after they start they're off-season rates so it is not real busy then.

SEVEN SLOTS OPEN

Yep, there's still 7 open slots for the Maydield Open. If you're on the fence on this one, you won't regret participating.
Cash payout, double option pot, huge raffle, discounted meals Friday evening, discounted lodging rates at Mayfield Resort, entertainment Saturday evening and much more.
If you've got any questions concerning this event, email or pm me or call me. This will be a fun event and one you won't want to miss.

Ok, so I am on the west side now and preparing to meet yall at Mayfield and fish, but.... I have never fished Mayfield. So I am asking a favor even though it is a competition. Anybody want to fill me in on some details of the lake? Water color and clarity, depths, bottom structure etc. Im not asking for lake secrets, just some basics so I know what to expect. Is it clear and drops off deep fast, or is it shallow green and weedy, this kind of stuff.
