Labor Day Weekend is already here!! What are your plans?

Post by delyakguy » Thu Aug 28, 2008 9:53 am

I cannot believe Labor Day is already here, Summer went too fast. Had much better luck early on, like late May/Early June. But Fall should be productive. I will probably just stay home and hit up some local lakes during weekend.

What are your plans for Labor Day? I wanna hear how everyone is going to end Summer with a BANG!!

Well I just got my new float tube. I do like it when birthday presents come early since my birthday isnt until October. So I want to hit the local lake and it looks like AaronE is going to take me out and show me the ropes of float tube fishing sometime this weekend. Besides that I am ending the summer by taking my oldest to get his driving permit, taking my girls to see Kung Fu Panda and making BBQ pulled pork for Labor Day BBQ.
'course they don't have biscuits and gravy ... but if they did, I bet everyone would eat there.

Will that be 2 or 3 sandwiches? Maybe Sunday evening or Monday?

Two is my limit. I still have to waddle home.

Either evening should work fine for me. You pick what works for you and we'll go tie into some bass.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I'll be hitting Lake Washington on Saturday, probably hitting the east channel. Maybe we'll see ya out there. Rest of the weekend is working on the house and spending quality time with the wife.

Today was my last day of work this summer, so..... next week=lots of trips to the Snohomish for some salmon...
