Off Limits and a few other Reminders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Deadeyemark » Tue Aug 05, 2008 9:36 pm

Hey folks,
Just a reminder concerning the upcoming Merwin Resevoir Chapter 57 members musky tourney: The lake will be off limits to fishing/boating of any kind M-F of the week prior to the event. This keeps it fair for all contestants participating.
Also, bring your cell phones. I've got ATT and have a full signal at Merwin. Not sure about the other carriers. I'd include your radios just in case. Merwin is kind of isolated.
Lone Fir Resort is where we'll be staying(most of us)and Speelyai Bay launch is where we'll be launching/checking in.
There will be a mandatory 5:30 am contestants meeting. Orange waterski flags and contest banners will be required.
If you're not a member yet, you can join that morning.
The contest will cost $20 per person and will pay out 1st-3rd or 4th or 5th depending upon participation. 20 entries will allow me to pay out to 4th. 25 to 5th. Under 20 will be 1st-3rd. There will also be a double option for a $5 fee and there is $110 already in it since no one doubled at the Tapps tourney. This option grows untill won.

Also, and most important of all is the Pot Luck on Sat evening immediately following the awards. Bring a dish to pass and get in on the commaraderie.

Bring your extension cords for battery charging. I'm definitely going to fish again on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to another great event shared with some fantastic folks.
