He said this site. People questioning whether he is fishing private ponds. Either way I enjoy his posts. Nice to see someone catching the BIG ones!!

The pic of the 8.47 smalie was at a Sportsman Warehouse in TriCities. I think it was caught two weeks ago in "some local river". That's what the pic said anyway. There were 3 - 4 different pics of the fish. Massive. I WAS proud of my 5 pounder smallies from the past few weeks, but now I have a different perspective.....#-o

I am going to Sportsmans Warehouse this week, I'll check it out. Must been Columbia or Snake River, Yakima not known for big smallmouth. I know guy who works there, maybe I can get him to scan picture.

This Largemouth was caught out of Black Lake here in Thurston county. on the 23 of july. It has been so tough Finding the bass out here, especially in the summer but I really try to stay in tune with all of the variables I narrowed them down and found this her. I was pleased when the scale read exactly 9lbs she was 24" long and almost 19" in girth laying flat. She was released.I caint wait to catch her again in a few years when she beats the state record! I have fished everything. worms all colors lizards craws senko's grubs jigs jig n pig all different ways carolina texas split shot. It has taken a while to narrow things down but really it doesn't matter. Because tomorrow it will be different. Bass fishing is so much fun and I cant wait to hit the water every chance I get. There out there but extremely picky on Black lake. It is a Finesse Lake so bring your skills if you come down to land Large mouth. There are always smallies to fall back on when your having bad LM luck, that is one good thing about this lake, FULL of small mouth and rock bass. so you wont get skunked! Good luck Fishermen

oh yea the date stamp is off because we were in a hurry to get the picture and didnt reset it after the batteries died.

Well, I will tell you this much She was caught on a 'specially rigged' yamamoto Hula Grub. But Im not gonna give away the color which is the key factor for most lakes. As long as your bait has action and it matches the color they prefer then your in business. shape can really help too. when it is narrowed down to exactly what they are feeding on. Then they dont think twice before they eat it. good luck!

Awesome fish. Bet it was a great fighter.
10/08/2008 is 8-10-08 month and day flopped, probably on international setting.
