Sammamish advice needed

Post by SnohoBassGuy » Fri Aug 01, 2008 1:01 pm

Due to the enormous boat traffic on Washington tomorrow, me and fishing buddy are gonna go to Sammamish instead. Can anyone give us some tips on locations/launch? Also, what is your preferred method there for catching?

Any input before 4PM today would be great lol. I'm at work, and dont have computer access once I leave :clown:

Smallmouth I'm assuming is what your going after?

There could still be a lot of boat traffic out there, who knows...

I'd be working a dropshot rig all day, deep docks.

Launch is on the south end of the lake. From Everett: Go 405 South, get on I-90 eastbound. Go a few miles, start going through Issaquag and then et off on the Front Street exit off I-90, turn left at the bottom of the off ramp., and follow that road for a few miles. It will turn into E Lake Sammamish Parkway, follow that for a few miles and you will see the lake and launch on your left.

Good luck and take care.

If you get there early {like 630} try rippin a frog through the lilypads just to the left of the launch,..you might get something outta there. Read Mike Carey's report on Samm,..D-Shot deep docks!

PLACE A ORDER TO West Coast Custom Tackle .. some of the best drop shot baits around .. keep in mind baits like robo worms , snipers snubs , etc are all sold over the counter and the smallies see those baits all the time .. Show them some different and your results will also be different .. You have you order back in two days .. :-"

Texas rigged 3-inch curl-tail grub. In brown or copper color. Hopped along the drop off where Issy Creek enters the lake, and hold on.

Gotta do this real real real early, before the idiot water skiers and jet skiers get on the water and spook everything.
