NORTH IDAHO PANFISH
Does anyone have a good spot in N. Idaho to go for panfish , fishing from the bank? When i go out in my uncles boat we hit Shepard for nice perch and a few crappie but alas I have no boat on my own. I also caught tons of fish from Avondale in Hayden but there is no shore access anymore. Thanks Dan FISH ON!!!

Hauser, Fernan, Cocolalla, Killarney, Cave, Medimont, Round, Chatcolet. That should keep you busy.

The folks fishing off the docks at Hayden ("Honeysuckle", I think is the name of the one on the SW corner of the lake) always seem to be doing well.
They have a really nice dock setup there, if you haven't been. You can walk (and I assume fish) off of the whole network that wraps around the swimming area, but there is one in particular that has benches and lean-on railings to fish from, where I always see people fishing. The bay just to the south of the launch has a nice bank to fish off of, from what I could see from the water. I think you take the turnoff just before the Honeysuckle launch to wrap around that bay. I caught some bass in there just tossing lures waiting for my friends to show up for some wakeboarding.
Fernan has a lot of road-side access spots to fish from too. I haven't fished there, just drove around it one day trying to get a nap out of my kids. There were people fishing from shore all over the place.
Good luck!
