so yesterday evening I decided to ride my bike to a lake for some bass fishin I started off casting a small jointed shad rapala and covered quite a bit of shoreline. I ended up cachting one 8-10in bass on the baby bass colored rapala!. it started to get a little darker so I headed back around while casting a black 6in mister twister curly tail w/ a tiny split shot. at about 9:00 two bass (estimated 3lb) swam right passed me extremely slowly and would no have anything to do with my worm. the water felt pretty cold to the touch I was thinking maybe the bass are not active enough to bite on lures what do you guys think?
basically I think they only feed during evening and morning. so next time I might try casting a night crawler with out any weight and watching my line as it slowly sinks.
another thing is it possible they are still in pre-spawn?
I need help!!
