Snohomish County Recommendations

Well, I'm up here near Everett, and I was wondering what recommendations you all have for Snohomish County bass fishing. Before about a month ago, I bass fished once a year on a trip to Banks Lake, and did alright. But now I have a bug up my ass, and want to get going locally. So far I have fished Silver Lake(Everett), and plan on going to Martha Lake (Lynnwood) tonight. I have heard that Lake Stevens has some lunkers, but I'm unsure. Please post any lakes that may be helpful, as well as recommended lures, conditions, etc...

I'm curious too. We're visiting my wifes grandparents in the village of Snohomish.

I'd suggest getting in contact with HillBilly Geek...He lives up there in Snoho county I believe and is a regular bass angler up there. He should be able to point you in some directions to find some bass...

Here's some that will make a nice day of it.... Some in Snohomish and some in Skagit..... Clear lake and Big Lake are nice for one day...LMB. Lake McMurry is nice could hit all three in a day if you wanted. If you got a float tube try Sunday lake east of Stanwood and Bryant just NW of Arlington....both have some nice LMB. Lake Howard and Lake Goodwin are nice for a day.If you have time try lake Shoecraft, it has both LMB and SMB... While you are there you can hit Crabapple, it's just a half mile from Goodwin. You will need a small boat here No Ramp. Another lake that is small is Loma....Lots of structure and docks ... about 40 acres or less. Ginsberg Ponds are fun for kids...you will pass it on your way up the freeway, it's on the left.You know Lake Stevens...Good for a day of Bassin'.... Might try Lake Bosworth south of Granite Falls. Always been good for bass and trout. If you want to spend a day going south try Lake Serene, Silver, Martha, Ballinger,Echo...All just minutes from the freeway. A little lake I haven't tried in years is lake Stickney, just south of Everett off 128th and So. A boat ramp was ok back when.... For up to date info look up the lakes here or call Ted's Sport's or there's some places in Everett.... That should keep you busy for several days. . One last little lake that you might try is lake Sawyer It's a small lake but has lot's of Bass. I haven't been there for several years but for a neat little lake it is nice. It is located just Northwest of Black diamond. As I remember there is a great place to have breakfast in Black diamond. Just ask and someone will show you the way. Very popular spot.
