You guys might want to check the weather. Looks like we've got a bit of a cold front moving in - with lots of rain and showers throughout the weekend. Saturday and Sunday were supposed to be mostly sunny, now they're showing 50% chance of rain and cloudy the entire weekend.

It's coming from the east (the rain) not west so areas in the foothills will be soggy...best to fish the western areas away from the Sound as the precip will be spinning around an upper level low moving in from the Rockies..it's not going to be a wash out...just not what we expected earlier. Never let the weather change your plans!!:bounce: KTK

of course i know what boat to look for. BBD i saw a huge 25 inch smallie swimming around the public dock at pne lake with a dead trout in its mouth but the fish would not hit anything i put on. I may be bass fishing this weekend as well too

Saturday: Buy a Weedeater, trim and mow the lawn, go to the dump, buy some bark and spread it in the garden area, plant a weeping cherry tree & snooze.
Sunday: Thin the radishes, buy a pigtail adapter so my trailer will fit on my new truck, move furniture around in the house & take my wife to dinner for our 26th anniversary.
Monday: Whatever she wants me to do.

I guess I really love her. She makes me very happy.

Here is the new "Going Fishin' Rig".

Let's not forget that Memorial Day isn't just a weekend for us to have an extra day to fish. It's to give thanks for those who have or are currently serving for our country to allow us to fish and live in a great nation.

On a side note, here are some pictures from the weekend...Spent some of it up at Whidbey Island, weather couldn't be any more perfect for late May! Bottomfishing out there was a little slow, but the weather more then made up for it....Anyone else have any pictures to stick a little more into this thread?
Nice little trout, caught on a White/red Dick Nite...

We climbed all the way up to the top, up there on the right...Pretty tough climb

Cool views from up there....

We threw out the carcass of one of our rockfish, soon enough, a bald eagle spotted the seagulls feasting on it and moved in and stole it from them. I got real close to it for this picture....It was real comfortable with me getting closer for a photo opportunity....

kevinb that kid is a stud and will be ladies man someday...mark my word!

SamK -- too bad that photo contest ended so early...those are quality shots. Too bad on the fishing for lingers...they're scattered this year. I've been on that beach eating lunch and looked up there...very, very steep.
