Olympia bass fishing

Anyone heading out to olympia local lakes this weekend?Im fishing St.claire,chambers and maybe pattison depending on the outcome of the first 2:cheers:

Hi Sparky101 . . .

I am looking at hitting St. Clair or maybe Long Lake on Saturday or Sunday . .depends on the weather . . looks like the forecast is about the same . .I'd just a soon dodge the wind so will use that as a guide for which day.

I hit a nice trout last fall, acted more like a salmon . . . I put him back so he is probably still there.

I just got an elbow in the side reminding me that Sunday is Mother's Day . . looks like I'll be going Saturday . .

You must be hitting the trout derby they got going on huh?I was gonna go bass fish long until i heard about the 530 start

Uh-oh! I was going to chase bass at Long. . . Yikes! i don't want to join a crowd . . . Long Lake has a trout derby??? Thanks for the warning.

That's a pretty small lake . . .Geez! That's two elbows in the side . . i take it you will go to St Claire????

Thats trout derby at St.Clair but yes im avoiding also ,Was planning on going there but not now.I will be at St. instead

Me and a backseater picked up about 18 i believe last weekend nothing reaching 2lbs.But another boater out there, from :cheers: here said he lost a 3lb'er at the boat and a 4-5 later on so hhhmmmmmm things are gonna get better.Why not 530 thats cheese cake oh hahahaha you from tenino, im only 8 min away sorry gotta brag for a sec.:-$

I picked up some nice bass at Chambers a few weeks ago. That lake has some nice fish in it.

I tried American Lake last weekend. Bought new bass gear at Cabelas and anxious to give some of it to trees, stumps and dock anchors. Sounds like a reasonable place. Are you guys going early?

My other occupation is a cartoonist . . i have some great fishing cartoons ( I think) . . . I collect them in my brain like emails when I fish and take them home . .

You have my word that I won't suspend you if you're fishing in my spot!!!

16 foot blue Lund, 40 horse Mercury, small downrigger hanging out the back, electric trolling motor at the stern (unfortunately)
