Beaver Lake Bass question

Post by Toad37 » Fri May 02, 2008 1:21 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if any could share some tips on fishing Beaver Lake for Bass. I used to fish for bass when I was a kid with a Hula Popper. But now-a-days it looks lie plastic worms and lizards are used rigged texas and carolina style? Just starting to learn about this and may go out tonight and try it for the first time. Thanks for any advice.

Try posting this in the bass fishing section you will get a lot of good feedback there, and is the proper place for this thread.

Toad the good thing about beaver is that it has so many "dinks" that it really doesn't matter what presentation you use there .. The very first time i fished that lake i caught bass on four different technics and my biggest bass that day was a 5 pounder .. so it possable to get into a nice bass here and there .. Bring everything you got and start casting is my advise ..I was there a few weeks ago and got one nice but the bite was still slow .. BBD:king:

I hit Beaver the other day, more to check it out than really fish it... I fell in love with it, hard to explain, but most of the lakes I've been to out here feel..dead or sterile to me..that one feels a lot like the ones back home do..I will be hitting it hard once I get the wood replaced in my boat.
