Chapter 57 Meeting was Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Deadeyemark » Fri May 25, 2007 6:09 pm

For those of you that came. WOW. It was a blast.
For those that couldn't make the 1st meeting, I hope we can see you and your friends and spouse at the next one.
Great to meet all of you and put some faces to some names. Not that I'll remember a darn one of em so holler loud when you see me on the lake.
Perry and Jani really had their ducks in a row and put on a great show. Jody also needs to be mentioned for flying all the way out from WI to help out Perry and Jani put the 1st meeting on. She did a heck of a job.
Steve Jackson and Bruce Bolding were there for the entire meeting and put on a fantastic presentation that was super informative. Lots of info from these two. A big thanx to both of them for their time and sharing of knowledge.
I also learned that Bruce B holds the state record for most muskies caught in a year and also in a single day. I forget the exact numbers but wow, I'm impressed. Brewster, you're a heck of a fisherman.
The next meeting should be even better(I don't know how)only because now we're becoming a group rather than individual fishermen. There will also be a raffle starting at the nest meeting with tickets for sale for the raffle items.
All I can say is that I was so wound up when I got home that I didn't get a wink of sleep. 0430 came darn early.
I gotta go fishin.

Sounds like you guys had a good metting mark, wish I could have joined you. Looking forward to receiving the membership information. Man I wish Oregon was half as progressive when it comes to tigers as Washington is.

Tiger Muskies are sterile.
You can't keep them under 50 inches:

Hey riverman;
You'll have to come on up for the next meeting!
We would love to meet you.
And you could bring some of those fancy baits... LOL (I'm on the waiting list).

Besides, if muskie guy can come all the way from Spokane area,
what's a little run down-river and up I-5?

Take a long weekend and have deadeye take you out on Tapps.

We're saving a chair for ya...

so sooner or later...
you will put your face in with these guys!
