Fiberglass Replica

Post by Deadeyemark » Sun Mar 23, 2008 9:31 pm

Folks, I just received my fiberglass replica from Lax taxidermy in Conover, WI this last Friday. What a beautiful work of art to say the least. The S-Curve pose is impressive. I sent him a couple of pics and length and girth measurements. Being picky, I had to put a tape to it just to make sure it didn't lose any size. Yep, it's right on the money. It's now hanging over my computer and looks just like the pic when I open it up on the screen. I'd recommend Lax any day. Here's a link for those interested.

This fish is still out there and someone will get to enjoy her this summer and hopefully CPR her so that the thrill continues.
Best of luck this season.

Sweet! Do you have any pictures of the final product? I've thought about getting some cutties done this way...it's expensive, but makes really good sense. Great job!

Are you going to pull it off your wall long enough to bring to the next meeting? Or is the meeting at your house?8-[

Very nice. So the meeting is at your house? Unless you take it off the wall.
