i was gonna say hi to you chris after the tournament but was too busy not winning anything in the raffle. i wonder if all the guys that placed caught their fish flipping/pitching or some other way. i didnt put my flipping stick down all day and maybe i should have tried something else, eh i guess i'll never know

we also flipped all day long. i heard of somebody catching a fish on a jerkbait, but i think most people were flipping.

I stood around and wanted to hear who won. When the raffle started I went and got my boat out of the water and started wiping it down. It looked like they had some good prizes. I don't own a flipping stick, but we were pitching plastics and jigs towards shore all day. Even a white spinnerbait, no luck. Man secret bait, was it a bluegill colored jig? Maybe someday I'll have my own Silver lake secret lure.

or you could try Mr.newby baits, also i think crappie and perch are more abundant than bluegill so try to stick to those colors,im sure there are many secrets to this lake and once i found one but the following year it didnt work so we must work

yeah im positive we got 6th cause i brought in 3.04lbs. but if we wouldn't of missed 1 fish out of the 6 bites we had we would of been at the top. but heck it was my first tournament and i thought i did dang good. showed my stuff hopefully to all those other guys out there.

thanks, Casey

I fished to, and got the ZERO but thats fishin on silver in march. Weekend before I had about 13lbs. I do better during the tourny when I don't prefish. The winning fish came on a spinnerbait the first 15 mins. of the tourny. Dont know how that fish was able to move, I had a hard time moving the first 4hrs of the morning. I broke off a fish the last 2hrs of the tourny to much hook set. I have done pretty well before. My best was the Mt.St.Helens tourny with 22lbs for first, but have also placed well in Capital City acouple times to.
Just want to say thanks to Ranger and there staff there for all the great Raffle prizes.:compress:

All the pictures are up. Looks like theirs even a video at the end. Looks like most people are in the pics, they got my boat a few times. They did a great job with their new site. I left them a guestbook comment as to why they didn't post the results and pics for last year. Big improvement this year.
