Mayfield Lake Report
Todd and I ran down to Mayfield this morning with the hopes of stretching some prower pro but no dice. This cold front really stopped any movement the muskies were thinking about making. We gave it a good blue collar try though. Not a fish sighted but visibility was only a foot. Full pool but very brown from in fill from Riffe. Had a darn good day with good company and a good fisherman. Hope to do it again when spring finally gets here. At least we knocked the jinx's off a few new baits. We'd probably have caught some but Todd brought a new rod, LOL.

RE:Mayfield Lake Report
Yeah it was the rod.....Ol' Mark was pretty enamoured with it though. Pretty as that PURPLE feathered bucktail you wanted! Well its actually Fushia. He loved it!! Don't deny that Mark!! LOL Again thanks for the guided tour. And a ton of laughs and info. And your one hell of a fisherman. Not in any particular order. Not bad for a fellow Wisconsinite!! Talk at you later, Todd

RE:Mayfield Lake Report
Remember deadeyemark, if you post a fishing report in the Forum it goes away, but if you use the report form it becomes part of your online fishing diary. I encourage you to post a formal report so years from now you will have a nice list of reports to look back through. also, with future additons to the site this information is going to be very interesting and useful.

RE:Mayfield Lake Report
Good point Mike. I just wanted to put something up in case anyone else was thinking about running down to Mayfield.
