A bit too expensive for my virgin blood, but it should be a blast. I hear the Hawhunters can really slay some bass! Good luck to all that enter.

only if you give me your sammy hot spots for our tournament in april! :colors:

i've never been there, but from everything i've heard it's definitely a numbers lake. sounds like they'll hit anything you toss at em, a great reaction bait spot from what i've heard. probably not in march though...

I know 1 person for sure who doesn't slay anything but GAS and Oil, but with that being said thats why i joined a club so i can become a "slayer of the thing we call BASS" LOL

I will be in that tourny hoping for a few bites that day.

Word is that the bassing is heating up in our big lakes for smallies...I'm looking forward over the next few weeks to get some of those fiesty bass on the end of my line. Should be a sweet tournament. I've always wanted to go check those out before. I was out one day last spring when there was a big tourney on Lake Washington...Lots of shiny big bass boats with some big ol motors strapped on....Some were fishing for smallies, others were fishing for largemouth..

I've marked bass in the 35-40' depth along the Kirkland waterfront...FYI...if anyone cares. They show up very clearly on my fish finder (Eagle Fish Easy 245DS). They show up as little black dots all scattered on the bottom. They are there right now.

Didn't you say kutthroat you were going out fishing on Lake Wa today? If so, how was it?

Went out scouting for bass areas. The Kirkland Waterfront area is alive with smallies right now. I caught and released maybe a 2 pounder. I was only out there for 2 hours, though. I'll get more serious this weekend for the cutts.

Good to know. Hopefully my special spot will be warm enough for the smallies to come into. It's a little shallower, but if they are there, the fishing is red hot...

There were a few people that came to the October tournament that I didn't even realize who they were till after I got home so I hope I can meet you all again for the first time.

In addition to the actual tournament. For those who cant make it or anyone on this forum really...

I'm going to have a "guess the weight online tournament". Who ever can guess the weight (or closet) of the winning bag of fish will win free lures from my website. More info to come by next weekend.
