Fished Wiser and Fazon today, Fri Feb 29

Post by basscanada » Fri Feb 29, 2008 11:22 pm

Hit the water with my buddy john today (called in sick.. ha),

First up was Wiser, got on the lake at 9:30, water temps were 46-47. The wind made fishing tough but covered lots of water with slow cranks, jig n'pig, and slow rolling 1/2 oz spinner bait with black skirt and colorado blade. Saw no bass and had no hits but felt good to get the winter rust out.

By 12:30 we decided to head to Fazon to see if our luck would change. Fished hard in varying depth ranges but again no takers. Water temps were 46-47 again.

Looking forward to seeing the temps hit the low 50s... just a matter of a few weeks now hopefully.

Keep at it, those are both good lakes that warm quickly.
