BASS - Washington's Future Sports Fishery 2:00 p.m.

If anyone is going down there, maybe you can ask those guy's at Cabela's why their bass section is a joke. I was very dissapointed to say the least. I ended up going across the freeway to Sportsmans and bought a few things I needed.

ive heard that they really dont have alot of bass gear and that most of the things there are expensive.

Cabellas bass section BLOWS!!!! The only thing I got out of there that I enjoyed was the camo section and the archery section...oh and the guns. But their fishing section didnt impress me

yeah, your better off going to sportco or outdoor emporium where you can actually get everything you need.

Since i live close yes i have been there a few times.I have got on them about their selection weights,hooks,plastics,new baits terminal gear and boat,trailer acc. I hope they can overcome all the negative feed that they get,they will tell you they open all the stores the same and then learn the area and see what people are looking for so be it maybe we have to wait awhile but hopefully it gets better Man The Lehi.utah store was great and so was the best vegas BASS PRO at the Silverton, won $1000 at excalibur and spent before i got home driving:cheers: maybe things will get better:-k

hopefully it does get better. even if it does the prices are going to still be more expensive than what you could get at some place like sportco.

The Bass section in the Post Falls store over here has to be worse, because you cannot possibly get worse. I couldn't find one single hook that I would even consider buying; their biggest offset shank worm hook was a size 2. Not 2/0, just 2. Not sure what i'm supposed to do with that. Also, their bass jig selection consists of about 5 different jigs, and maybe 15 total jigs. it's like one row of one little display in a corner. Absolutely pointless. Seriously Cabela's should be embarrassed. Their soft plastic selection is horrid too.

I'll agree with the prices at Cabelas. Senko's for $7, come on now. Sportco and Sportsmans is the way to go, if you have to buy locally that is.

pretty much. cabelas is more for hunting gear not so much fishing. but thats for now, hopefully they will improve.

I agree Sportco is pretty good since its closer for me. But I go to Anglers Choice Fishing Tackle in Lake Forest Park. They seem to have what I need and the old guy that owns it seems to know damn near everything!

When I was at the Evergreen Sportsman's Show in Monroe last weekend I discovered a great Bass tackle resource- Angler's Choice in Shoreline. They seemed like a great group of guys, decent prices, and actually knew a thing or two about warmwater fishing instead of all of these dime a dozen silver fish guys in most of the stores around.

I'm heading over there this weekend to check out their store.

In shoreline or lake forest park? Thats the same store I go into and yes they have an incredible selection of bass gear
