Glad I got off Washington early and went out to the Raffle. Scored over $400 worth of stuff, GLX Loomis rod being the best prize.

Nice score ChrisB. You made off with more then a lot of the field that fished in the tourney.

When you think you know it all, its time to quit. Knowledge should be gained on every trip.

No, he did not! There were a few guys that not only won 1000 dollars, but some nice right angle drill motors, and a bucket of love......The sponsors were to thank, as they stepped up. We had a great time putting the tournament on, and hoped everyone that came enjoyed themselves, and got enough to eat. The winner received 1040 dollars, and the big fish winner got 1000 dollars. Plan on fishing it or showing up again next year. It will be bigger and better! Thanks again to those that fished.

Read the posts and had one small issue:
The post that said the winner from last year wouldn't fish this year.
That is not entirely true. It is a team tournament and last year WE won. Ron Hobbs Jr. decided not to fish this year so I fished with another partner.
The fishing was much tougher this year. We only caught 2 fish and finished like 9th or something. Half of the teams blanked.
I think most of the fish that were caught came out of 40'-55' of water.

Looking forward to the ABA tournaments in March
I promise we'll do better LOL
See ya out there

I forgot about that Eric, as no offense was meant by it.....We had a few guys ask us early on if Ron was going to fish, and that was the only reason that was even mentioned. It was definately tougher fishing than the year before, as we could see by the numbers. Good luck in the ABA tournaments this year.

No worries Brian,
I think the price of fishing with Ron is that you don't get any credit. He is so dang good.
I even had a guy at the weigh-in say "of course... you were fishing with Ron Hobbs"
Just for the record: He's 10 times the fisherman that I am but I did catch the 2 biggest fish on my spot. LOL
Hope to see you guys out there for the ABA on March 15 & 16.

Eric
