Rather than selecting Trout from the Species Targeteed menu I would suggest breaking "trout" down into several categories:

Rainbow Trout
Cutthroat Trout
Brown Trout
Tiger Trout
Kokanee (a salmonoid)

etc....

Just a suggestion. Many lakes have browns, coastal cutts, or cutthroat in them, not just rainbow...or the generic "trout." This would be a good addition.

Until the trout section gets enough action, I think it would just make too many submenu's...Decent idea though...

I think he's referring to the report menu for species targeted. CTK, would you mind PMing this to Aaron? He's coding the new site and this shouldn't be too hard. For that matter, other stuff in those drop down menus you think we should add would be helpful to mention as well.

I went ahead and sent Aaron a PM and he can consider it - of course, this would be for submitting a report, just like Mike alluded to in his post. I think it would be a good addition, as some target specifically rainbow trout on lake washington and other people target just cutthroat trout on lake washington. The same would apply for Pine Lake in Issaquah. Many target just brownies and this would be a neat add-on feature.
