whats the point of the slamola, I thought steelhead don't like hot cures lol maybe im just misguided

I use it because it works and I think steelhead love it in some situations. Hundreds of steelhead caught on "salmon" cures tells me that nothing is set in stone when it comes to cure types and the species that will eat them.

Our snake river steelhead really seem to like it. It's an optional ingredient, that will not effect the overall curing process if left out.
