Green River HELP

Post by KiNg.Me206 » Fri Jan 25, 2008 9:56 pm

I live very close to the green river and would like to fish there for steelhead, but I'm not sure it is open right now. I've heard conflicting stories- Heard its open but only for whitefish, heard its open for steelhead and whitefish, and I also heard it is completly closed can someone help me out please. If it is open for steelhead what tips/techniques should i use and any good hot spots I should try? thanks

I fished Allentown all day Saturday with one possible strike. The river looked great but I thought so more then the fish.Sunday I fished the Snoqualmie and the Raging.Nada for both days. The Snoqualmie for the most part was very quiet. You couldve fished anywhere just about.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
