First Annual Burbot Tournament 2016

YJ Guide Service will be sponsoring a Burbot Tournament on Lake Roosevelt(Fort Spokane Boat Launch) on January 9th 2016 from 730am-1pm check in at 630 am with a meeting to follow at 7 am. Chili and cornbread feed to follow after weigh in bring your own drinks. Cost will be $25 per person with $5 going back to YJ to recoup costs of permit/food. The rest will be divided up among 1st(50%), 2nd(30%), 3rd(20%). We will also be doing a big fish side pot($5). Contest will be the 5 biggest Burbot per person which one of them will be their big fish if entered into that side pot. If their is a tie for some reason their single biggest fish of the five is the tie breaker fish. Just remember the tournament is coming up in a couple weeks. It will be a fun time with good food and great people. Remember to bring a tournament banner or we will have caution tape to identify any boat involved in the tournament. You don't have to know how to fish Burbot we will give you a little help before the tournament on how and what to look for. Just remember to bring lots of worms or cut bait (Hint) If you can fish for walleye then you can fish for Burbot.

Check in will be at the ft Spokane store just up the hill on the right from the boat launch. Park service doesn't allow money exchange on park service property. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone....
