Low water is gonna make it hard this year, luckily got a few hook ups on the sky opener first time ever going there. lets see your guys' success

I did have good luck throwing ol reliable, I was the only guy as far as I could see throwing it and went 1-3 and my buddy got 1 as well. just gotta know what you are doing and hope the idiots aren't out the same day as you.
Not just sky reports or pics, all Washington and NW rivers are welcomed

It's not the same now, those fish are there, but they're completely locked up and over pressured. They will be until late summer when everyone gives up and moves on to the humpies.

I'm still going out but it's been a bit more challenging with the conditions than in the past few summers and my farmers tan is getting pretty intense with all the sun. Here's one from last week. Anyone else getting out?

I see some interestingly negative thoughts on the summer steel this year. I've had my best year for steelhead, and I think it's a direct result of this climate. Fish are going to hold, and they are going to hold in similar spots. They are definitely coming into the river, just a little more scattered and seem to be later, just as they have predicted much of the pinks and other salmonoids to hold out in the salt a littler longer hoping for some rain. My fly rod has been my ticket, small presentations. There are PLENTY of steelhead around and big bulls to keep things interesting. Heck, if anything this weather seems to justify getting out and enjoying what you can. Get bored? Bring board shorts and swim - yes it's that warm this year.
