Bank fishing the Cascade

Im new to the cascade, was just wondering about access. Is there private property I need to be aware of or can I walk/fish anywhere between the mouth and the hatchery? thanks

Easy access. Park in the lot on the right after you go over the marblemount bridge & walk in.

Ya I know about that I was just wondering if it's ok to fish from there the whole way up to the hatchery

You might want to read the first page of this thread. The Cascade isn't worth the trouble.

The cascade is worthless. That old timer needs to be in prison as well as half the people who fish there.

That is messed up about the guy shooting at people! I have fished up there quite a few times and never ran into a problem but I'll sure be more careful next time I go. I did come across a loose dog that looked sketchy once on the Cascade. Normally, I carry for reasons like the sketchy dog or the crazy guy shooting at people.

bugchucker, If you fish the opposite side of the hatchery you should not have any problems and less people fishing since most like to go in at the hatchery. If you want to fish the mouth on the hatchery side, there are a few pullouts on the road to park at and walk down. I'd stay away from any "no trespassing" signs between the hatchery and the mouth.
