There are a few and emphasis on few up at Haller. I hit one on Wednesday evening. Just a take, headshake, and gone.

Had to work HARD for that bite. lol.

I went scouting the Stilly today. Saw nothing, nobody fishing. This evening I went back up to Haller to walk my dogs and see if anything was happening. I saw 4 guys fishing. Talked to one, he said there was nothing going on. Then just as it was getting dark I heard splashing, looked around and saw them jumping and rolling like crazy directly under the center of the railroad/trail bridge. I walked to the end of the concrete ramp to get a closer look and saw 2 fresh salmon carcasses laying there, somebody had cut fillets off and left the rest. So something was caught at Haller today!

Went to Haller last night, there were about 10 other guys there. Not a single person hooked up. Saw plenty rolling, but it's strange they are running about halfway or more out into the river, its really had to target them in the gin clear water with 0 flow.

Water is just too damn warm. You could take a bath in there!

I was there Sunday. Lots of fish rolling under the bridge again, but nothing biting. Shes running real low and clear. Had to stop my line when casting so it wouldn't go onto the opposite bank. Took a bike ride up to c-post on the N.fork just past the slide area and saw tons of nice sized rainbows and a school of kings. I'll stick to fishing the salt and fly fishing on the N.fork till we get some rain.

Fished haller last night for about an hour, saw plenty jumping and rolling but they have zero interest in biting. Thought for sure there would be a few willing to bite at first day light this morning. Got there before daylight and fished till 11:00. Plenty of jumpers and rollers but the silvers just don't want to bite! Caught a king around 10:00 and released unharmed, other then that NOTHING!! Saw plenty of people fishing and not a single silver was caught while I was there. We need rain!!!

Ive been there first light thurs,fri,sat,mon,tues, and just one that i had come off close to the bank on thurs.Other than that its been super slow,seen rollers under the bridge but none biting,we need a good few days of rain.

River level didn't hardly flinch with that rain. Looks like levels are about what they were just last Monday. The first major spike should bring some fish in. Best day I had last year is when it was dropping from a 7ft spike in mid October and I believe 3-4ft is the average level around then.

One problem is the fish are in there but temps have been too high to get them bitey. That little blip may have been enough to turn them on for a day or two.

the only place I have seen fish caught was at haller park just saying nothing below there scouted lots of other spots no rolles below there

Same thing here. Hit all the holes, only saw fish at haller.

all the fish there are stone cold lock jawed. the only fish being caught are from snags

I have found that if you can find unpressured fish and dont wade out on them, but rather be quite stealthy, there is success to be had. Subtle presentation is important. Black egg sucking leaches are nice for this... longer lighter leader, small lead, swivels too. Leave your braid at home. Dont cast on top of rolling fish. I have watched fish in holes scatter as lead rains down on them... the reason nobody is hitting fish is because these fish are super spooky...

I picked up my first on Friday. 5lb buck, chrome bright. Haller, right at sundown on a Green Frog DN.

Lots of rollers, not lots of biters. Only fish hooked for the 15 folks on the bank.
