Has anyone had a chance to check out the nets around 112th? Would you say it if fishable? Usually the next are stacked up just downstream of the walking bridge and above the bridge can be fished...or is juts a gauntlet of nets below and above the bridge rendering that stretch unfishable?

Hoping someone can chime in and save me a trip over there...otherwise, I guess I will just go and check it out myself :-)

If the previous posting is correct, then the nets should only extend up to South Park this week.

Does that mean that i can still fish near the community center, or do i have to go all the way above the South Park to fish?

I tried to fish in Cogdia park for 3 days, but haven't got a bite ](*,)

The South Park (16th Ave) bridge is WAY downriver from the Community Center. Currently, you can fish anywhere you like up to I-405, even around the nets, but the nets won't be a problem up at the Community Center. I'm not sure if they even set nets that high.

I fished from Boeing (112th) up to the community center today. No nets, and few fish. Saw an occasional roll, mostly dark with a few chrome (very small chrome).

Didn't see anyone catch anything, except this little tyke.

Almost embarrassing to be fishing for salmon and catch this, and I don't even know what it is. Guessing it is some kind of perch?

At least I caught something!

At least you caught something, is right! That little guy is more than I've pulled in. Congrats. [laugh] Yes, it's a perch (saltwater variety).

This was my first trip to the Green, and the tide was still coming in so it was hard to scout. I did see what looked like a big pile of rocks just below the bridge, in the middle (guessing that is whay you are referring too?)

Is it easier to fish the west (freeway) side in that area? I noticed fishing at the bridge from the parking area side that my line was drifting in towards the bank (after the tide turned and was heading out again).

where are alternative parking spots in that area?

The 112th street dead end can't fit too many cars, and the Boeing lot is off limits

Wow! I didn't realize the river dropped THAT much at low tide. Definitely changes the perspective on where not to fish lol

for drifting eggs whats a good leader length? Weight I can adjust easily enough.

Going to hit it at first light tomorrow, my catch card is still empty this year. :(
