I just looked at that last week and its pretty much the same as 8-2. Regs are in the paper regs and in the PDF version on the paper (don't know why DFW doesn't put up an easily accessible version that's mobile friendly).

I'm fishing area 6, around the the north/west corner of 8-1 if you can figure it out.
Zero coho...I caught my first one 12 July last year. Totally dead.... Hoping it's going to be a mid-augaust
through Sept this year....

There's a half dozen guys that fish out front regularly. I'm sure just for bottomish fish. I've seen them pull in some pretty juicy flounders. I'm pretty sure you could catch any fish that likes to live in and around eel grass. The bay is full of it.
You could always go around to the mouth of the Stilly , it does split, one branch north and one south. I'd be very careful with a prop. I've found myself rowing and walking back out because of not enough water for the little boat.
Build a man a fire and he's warm for the night. Light a man on fire and he's warm the rest of his life!

I saw some guys jigging for bottomfish. I guess yesterday was a crab derby. We weren't in the derby. We just wanted crabs. Im going back this week for more smelt. Im trying to get a new smelt dip net.

I saw the same. Wonder what they were going for? We were crabbing right in Crescent Harbor.
