Fly fishing on lake roosevelt

Family vaction is coming up next week, we usually head up to rodgers bar on roosevelt for the week, years past I leave the fly rods at home and take the bass gear, but this year I'm bring the fly gear, any tips for fishing for bass would be great

poppers, streamers, frog/crayfish/mouse/dragonfly imitations, the usual.

sink tip? floating or full sink line?

sink tip, floating line for close to shore for anything that sinks like the crayfish imitations. Full sinking if you want to fish streamers or sinking crayfish imitations over the deep flats and deep water/dropoffs. Full floating for all the floating bugs and mice and such.

Hit the fly shop in Ephrata. They run guides out of there and have pretty good knowledge about the entire area. Buy a few flys, maybe some tippet or a leader of two. They'll tell what you need to know.
