Around Spokane
I am looking form some small streams or beaver like ponds to fly fish around spokane. I know about crab creek and rock ford. I am trying to see what else is out there I know we have a lot of lakes and I am just guessing there are some creeks with some pretty good fishing. So if any one knows anything let me know. thanks

Re: Around Spokane
Not as much as you would think. Many of our creeks and streams dry up during the summer or just get to hot. Contrary to popular opinion, this is not an area with native trout.
The Spokane River and the Little Spokane River offer some good fly fishing to those in the know. The headwaters of a lot of the smaller streams, if they are on property you can access can hold some small fish, but after living in Spokane since 1999 I have concluded my fly rod needs to focus on still water patterns.

Re: Around Spokane
How far are you willing to drive from Spokane and does the size of fish matter to you much? If you are willing to drive up to 1.5 hours there are lots of creeks, both desert and mountain.
