Got this piggy on the Green last night. 10 lb buck. Meat was still nice and orange. Time to start stocking the freezer with some Silvers!

Thanks...I was really surprised to pull one out that big. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a really good picture of it, so can't really see how big it really is. Gotta say, that was quite the fight. I thought I was gonna lose it several times.

More fish pictures from some of the trips we've been on lately. It's been a good season for silvers! Check out the massive amount of eggs from the OP too, that was very good bait trip.

It was okay, I asked him if he wanted to keep it, and he wanted to smoke it. It was big, at 10.4 pounds, and it looked so cool. I love those giant mouths with the hook nose!

I can't believe you let him keep that with that flabby milted up stomach. When he cut it open I'm sure he was disappointed. The other ones are nice smokers though and good eggs.

Is there another forum specifically for Guides? I feel like it would be great to see a couple of the guys here graduate to the next step... ya know like an 8th grader moving into high school. Think dazed N confused with the paddles! I say we let Nate stick around though, he should get another year or two before his rite of passage is invoked!
