Last year I was not happy with tayhua, all the fish were at one meat hole and it was embarrassing to watch the "fisherman"

please don't mention anything about any of these places, if you want info PM each other please, I am more than willing to share reports between a couple people just not the whole internet, I will be at the quil this weekend though. really don't want these places turning out to be a zoo like last year even though I never have a problem finding the fish.

if it was a zoo last year you can bet it will be more of a zoo this year. How many of those that were there will return with their friends this year? Its going to happen. A lot of rivers are having puny runs which only result in more guys/gals looking else where.

Lol exactly, it's too late, everyone knows about these runs. I fished the Tahuya once and it was pretty funny watching people fish up the river where the length of my body is longer than the width of the river. At least the game warden was there the day I went there.

Like I said, aint no fish in the Tahuya, and I hear the Quill is going to suck too :-" No reason to take the ferry, when there are tons of fish in the Sky!

I don't think it being a pink year will help, everyone in the kitsap peninsula will be at both these rivers. last year the crowds sky rocketed, there used to be only a few people fishing the tahuya and at most 20 people on the upper quil, now there are more than 20 cars before 7am, atleast at the quil they are hatchery fish and there will be enough for the people that know how to fish there. btw the fish will bite eggs in there.
