What hole you gonna be fishing at?
Brat Bonker, im going for a first cast fish too. The past 3 salmon seasons, my first cast ive gotten a fish in the mouth every year. Already did it this year, would be cool to do it again.

yeah you were telling me about that before, I just don't feel like going to early and limiting before 6am that would kinda suck but still want a quick limit to fish else where.

low tide so you don't get stuck out there unless you plan on spending the whole day at the river and willing to wait the tides out.
Saturdays tides:
high-2:30am-10.0
low-9:41am-0.0
high-5:23pm-11.0
low-10:51pm-7.0

Just curious what set up you guys use out there? I'm new to river fishing. I know snagging is BS and people outta be beat for it, but it sounds like a lot of people use black corkies and yarn and just set the hook when they feel the line twitch... Flossing I believe? That sounds pretty dirty too no? I'm planning on using eggs and a bobber or drift fishing the eggs with a small weight at the swivel... Any thoughts?

I drove the river today and there is no fish in it. Don't bother going down there...

There were a lot of bright fish above 106 today. I bobber fished with a large group, and we hooked 12 out of one hole.

Well when I said I wasn't seeing anything I was being sarcastic, there was tons of fish last night. most of them moved on during the night. I limited by 800 though. Got twin chrome 17 pound bucks.
