I need to know exactly what to use and where to go! i perfer the wallace cause its easier to locate fish! All i caught was a Dolly Varden! I want to get a steelhead soooo bad! I watched a guy land a 13lb hatchery hen (i think) and another 9lb hen at reiter! I need some steelies! Any info on what will kill them is appreciated!

Amen brother. You hit the nail on the head. I keep casting and fishing. Dont give up. I love fishing the Sky. Its my newest favorite river going on 2 years. I mainly plunk it but I drift it also.Brat Bonker wrote:I think it is slow all around, just keep casting and find the little slots where the fish like to hold, observe where others are catching fish and fish there next time using the same technique. Also do not take breaks you never know when the bite will turn on so keep casting. i have never fished the sky system before so I do not know what to use there or how to fish it these are just basic rule of thumbs.
yeah I didn't really relize it much until this year but when I was at the cascade fishing a spot on the raspberry hole then moved to the other side of the river to see a guy hook 2 where I was standing using the same thing I had rigged up on one of my rods except he just kept casting and casting opposed to when I would take little breaks to talk with other fisherman and only cast that rig a couple times.racfish wrote:Amen brother.
