BASS Elite Series Pro Question

Post by basspro » Tue Nov 27, 2012 3:55 pm

Guys,

I want to ask how much interest there would be to listen to a seminar by a well known BASS Elite Series Pro?

Russ, I think that would be great. I know you have had some great speakers over the last few months. I haven't been able to make it to any of them. Daughter's soccer is killing me. Who do you have in mind? A west coast guy or one of them "southerners" LOL. I think any Elite series pro would be awesome. Those guys put in the time and sacrifice having a normal life just to live their dream. Hopefully you can get this arranged.

I personally enjoy hearing from the Tour guys from the west coast or PNW !
The guys from the west coast can relate more to the kind of lakes we fish up here in washington . A great example is when "Neil Russell " from idaho came down too 3 rivers a few years back and talked about fishing the columbia river , that was a great seminar .

Guys like Neil russell , Brent ehrler, Brandon palanick , Ronn hobbs , Luke clausen , Gary dobyns , etc Are all good examples of Top ranking pro's that can truly relate to our fisheries and offer real tips and advice.

If Kevin van damm , Mike Ike , or even Jacob Wheeler was to come too town i most likely wouldn't attend a seminar for those anglers .
Even thou these guys are iconic figures in the Bass community i dont believe either of them could provide us with helpful advise for lake washington , Lake sammy , etc (For the record , Mike Ike has attempted to fish our lakes and came up short of success )

Guys like Luke Clausen and Brandon Palanick still comes back to our state to fish every year and that says a lot IMO !! [thumbup]

Thats my thoughts on the subject folk [thumbup]

I can appreciate what Dez is saying, but I would go for the celebrity value. These guys are icons. If Aaron Martens will be there, so will I.

If KVD came to Limit Out, Dez would be there. He must not have been thinking clearly when he made that post :-" Look back a year or two, you were talking kvd triple grips and all sorts of stuff Dez. Who wouldn't want to describe a lake, describe a weather pattern, and have KVD dissect the lake without even seeing the lake. His info would be great, no doubt about it.
And just because Mike Ike didn't catch a smallie on a local lake in the middle of winter, and on a tv show under some bad weather conditions, well that doesn't mean a thing.

06,

We tried for August and am truly sorry you will not make it. Thank you for serving our country.

These big name pro's are hard to pin down as their schedules are packed. We have been working on getting Aaron out to Limit Out for two years.
