There was a ton of people at first light and within a couple hours people started leaving empty handed. I was fishing down below and there was like 15 people at one time and tons of people up river. I think so many came down river today because there was no place to fish above, too many people. When I left there was not very many people in either spot. Talked to a guy fishing raspberry hole, he said he was there at daylight and had only seen one fish caught there and I was the only one to catch one down below. The afternoon might have been better, I don't know.

wow that sucks but it is a great feeling when you catch 1 of the few fish that day. What about the other side, any people over there?

There was a guy fishing that spot with the big root ball, the area that Danny and one of his clients just recently caught the 2 steelhead and 2 coho on the last day of coho Nov.30. He did not do any good. I know there are fish in that hole but hate to fish that spot. Hard to fish it and when you do hook up it is hard to land the fish. Watched Danny net or land all 4 of those fish on Nov.30, he did a great job. If you have fished that spot you should know how difficult it can be, even though Danny makes it look easy.

Caught #7 today, little 4.5 lb, 24 inch buck. Very brite but small. Fish came right in, never even peeled any line. Smallest one yet. Those small bucks always taste good though. There wasn't as many people today but still quite a few for the lower stretch, caught mine right at first light and a second one was caught right beside me before I even started fishing again. It was also very brite but on the small side maybe 5-6 lbs. a short time later a third was caught by another guy, his was 8-9 lbs and super brite. Only 1 fish caught up at raspberry hole. Still not many fish for how many people are there, but the most I have seen caught in one day down where I fish...usually only 1.

yeah I fish over on that side a lot and basically the only way to land them is with a net. Nice fish btw but 3 fish for 30 people is not good.

Not sure where swift creek is. I have seen cars at the eddy but have not checked it out recently.

The bogy!! Gonna fish tomorrow and sunday. Might try to fish the dungy sometime next week though, can't fish it right now since right now we just have a rental car till monday and it would be better to spend the weekend in forks. . Looking like it'll be a good run on the dungy this year though. Hatchery has had 8 back, i hooked 3 last month, and i know of 4 others hooked and 1 landed last month, and 8 landed within the past two weeks. Best run that river has had in years.

Hahaha. I've heard from a very reliable source that the fish have been in the bogy for a few weeks, just been tough to get to the fish with all the rain. Thats what i heard atleast, plus the 300 fish that have already made it to the hatchery. I have a few pink worms, but i dont use them much. I use eggs and pearl pink corkies, and jigs more than anything.

Yeah, normally pretty far down though. I fish a spot not too far above the confluence by the calawah.
