28 Pounds of Humptulips Hawg!
Here's the video Nate Treat and I did fishing the Humptulips a few weeks back for the fall HAWGS.

Wow I like that new intro! Awesome video and getting that salmon on light gear!!!
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

yup, and I was using my "bobber rod". It's funny reviewing video later and hearing what comes out of one's mouth in the heat of the action.fishenfreak wrote:did i hear you say you were.. bobber dogging??? thats how I roll!
I just realized (thanks Nate) that the resolutions are messed up, so I'm redoing the rendering (again). I upgraded to Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects and it's been a steep learning curve (thanks for the help Nate). Plus, now I'm buying a new computer to deal with the updated software (thanks again Nate).

after effects = photoshop on steroids..
enjoy!!
I use it for titles and such for some of our snow flicks and full length movies.. endless possibilities!! super fun app once you learn it a little bit.. congrats!

I rendered the video again and re-published it. You can now view it in 1080p on full screen by clicking over to YouTube. (you'll need a good internet connection to watch at this resolution)

Lordy lordy what a fish! I also agree that new intro is great! It makes me want to go fishing, which I think is the halmark of any good fishing video.

BEASTIE King! Congrats on a will fighting fish!
Re: 28 Pounds of Humptulips Hawg!
Thanks! The intro was fun to work on. The video was more fun to make though. Man I just have to get a look at that fish, it's awesome when you can get those big ones on camera. All of my big fish from years back got lost to film, I wish I had that sort of tech back then.Fish-or-man? wrote:Lordy lordy what a fish! I also agree that new intro is great! Nice video Mike and Nate! I used to really enjoy fishing the Hump. Camped many nights in the area and caught lots of nice fish - Kings, Coho, Steelhead and Chum. I fished the mouth of Stevens Creek several times and once caught an estimated 45 pound chrome King. Problem was it was snagged in the top fin. I was tempted to break the law and keep it until 3 more anglers arrived just as I was landing it. It was then released.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker
