Re: Chico creek
been looking on google maps trying to find where this creek is. and all im finding is housing developments. can anyone give me a lil better directions. pms ok. thanks
Re: Chico creek
drive hwy 16 north, take the austin drive exit and follow that to a 4 way stop, go straight through, you will reach chico creek, there will be a porta potti next to the road. park along side the road, and walk the trail out along the creek to the bay. Evening time the chums come up into the mouth in large schools.

Re: Chico creek
Finally got a coho out of chico yesterday, not very big or bright but a nice coho nonetheless, river was super muddy and high, it was hard to cross even at low tide and chums are about to wrap up but I did release a bright big buck chum dog too. Gotta use bright suff like orange or chartreuse.
River is probally even more high today with the non stop rain, even my school pond was flooding over the bus lane haha, but did not see any chum running up though
