slightly bigger avatars?

Post by A9 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 2:12 pm

Could it be possible that we can get our avatars a bit bigger? They are pretty small and make it tough to see the good pictures that people have as avatars.

Thanks,

Sorry guys - having a bigger avatar pic won't make the fish in them any bigger - I tried that one already :-"
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Hey, is that why you have a computer generated fish for a logo? No mug? Well, I think it should be a link to a larger picture. It will be the same size on the page, but when you click on it it could give you the original version.

:dj: out.

not that I'm aware of and Aaron is loath to fiddle with the Forum code as it can make things very buggy. The site code is seperate from the forum code, which is why we have more leeway there.

Thanks,
You can Sam. Mike, Aaron and I were joking around with the Avatars while it was in Beta Testing. We all cropped the picture and then uploaded to the site. It made the fish look bigger:cheers:
Play around with the original photo by cropping it and give it a try.

I've always wished they were bigger too. What about just an option of them getting bigger if they are clicked on? Otherwise staying the same size.
