Nice job nate! You fishin the slayer holes i showed ya?? Haha, what day did you go? i was down there today with 2 clients, +10000 on the bigger fish showing up, YES its late in the season and they are getting DARK, but what are ya gonna do with the keep 2 and go rule right... we actually got lucky and landed a few niceeee chromers today (chrome for now anyway) so we killed 2 really bright ones, 3 decent ones with some color, and were forced to bonk a NASTY buck, hahah hopefully he will be edible smoked, YUM [scared] haha. We actually hooked about 20, but they were bigger and went nuts, broke a lot off, lost a few, we also landed a couple BIG high 20s bucks, a couple were hooked on the side of the lip, technically outside of the mouth so we were able to release, i need to figure out a way to tie my eggs above my hook, so the fish bite, set the hook and the hook goes into the face on the outside so i can catch and release, im gonna work on it, would be sweet if i could figure out a way to get bites but have hook on outside.... espeically with the darkies now. Biggest buck below, which we weighed in the net and took the net weight away, was 26.8 pounds.

Ya i think the small amounts of overnight and early rain pushed in the last of the run. I also got broken off one some monsters. I was running 20# leaders and had to point pretty much point my rod down at the water when they went nuts to not get insta snapped.

Wooo! I don't know about that buck there Danny, I'd've let him swim off. Less weight to carry out. Always good to get eggs though. He's a hawg though! Look at those teeth!

all my fish are on eggs from the samish, even a coho this year, dont know why people think its hard, every time my brother and i go, we limit at the combat fishing spots. my brother has limited within 20 min the last 3 times we went! took me longer but still got 2

i just cast right over the snaggers til they get fed up with me and move somewhere else
