I know what you're talking about. I've got a hole that people walk by and ignore, Theres atleast 100 fish in it..zefsidefishing wrote:got my secret spot where there will be probubly about 200 kings and quite a few coho in the mix, just sitting in one pool :} muhuwhahaha....well its not really secret.
There are some achievements which are never done in the presence of those who hear of them. Catching salmon is one, and working all night is another.

Re: Wallace River
I honestly don't believe that there will be many coho in the Wallace river section that is opening sept 16. We have had basically no rain to push fish all the way to the Wallace and even if there are any coho in there good luck trying to get them to bite too many kings in the way. But you never know so I guess we will be waiting for your reports if you guys do write a report

Re: Wallace River
ill find a way to maneuver my black yarn into a coho's mouth if there in there, but yeah will be tons of kings just chillen
Re: Wallace River
zefside, purposely targeting kings is a no no.. "lots of kings to hook" just sayin...
also, you got a crush on Yolandi? I DO!! she's like this evil fairy or pixie. something about her funkyness pulls me in.. probably cuz i'm a ninja!

Re: Wallace River
i saw em live in seattle, best concert for sure, die antwoord is awesome. but nah im not "targeting kings" im gonna have 12 lb and 10 lb, im going for silvers, just saying im probubly gonna hook like 10 kings for every 1 coho, the ratio is in kings favor, but not targeting em. if one gets on my line, nothing i can do but fight it quickly and release it and hope for a coho.

Re: Wallace River
we have pontooned the river, did it last fall. just kinda use the boat to hual your gear cause 90% of the time your walking. def was a trip i would do again. lots of silvers and a few steelhead to account for. cant wait for it to fill up with silvers again!
Re: Wallace River
Don't be surprised if you see a sign right at the intake that states closed waters to 400' ft below intake till Oct. 1st...... Been that way the last couple of years to try and get the kings in the shutes....

Re: Wallace River
if they do, they better post it on the internet before RIGHT before its supposed to open, and not just a retarded sign, but actually post it.
Re: Wallace River
The Wallace will open Oct 16th but just the section from the intake at the hatchery and 400ft below is normally closed...
Re: Wallace River
I know! would be a bummer cuz there is only about 15 miles of river to fish before the Wallace.. slim pickings!zefsidefishing wrote:im gonna be so DAMN pissed if the wallace is closed till october, been waiting so long...
Re: Wallace River
Wallace is really really low. probably won't be too many fish in there til rain..
Re: Wallace River
Fish will come regardless of rain or not.... They will trickle in untill we get rain, then they will all come at once....
