Anyone know how Banks Lake has been fishing lately? Pondering a trip this weekend for Bass/Walleye.

Cold at night, hot, hot, hot in the day time...... That time of year.

It was a tough go. Never seen the water so low. Only got some small SMB. Crazy lightning storm came through Saturday night. They were saying it started around 25 wild fires.

Yeah I headed over there on sunday of that weekend. Was suppose to stay till friday but left thursday because of all that smoke. It gave me headaches. I only got 1 largie but mostly fished Blue lake for trout because of the smoke. The smoke was the worst at banks though. Yeah and that water level is still low. Don't know why though. Its down about 4 feet now.

Well we tried banks for the first time on the 15 th and 16th. Worst darn fishin ive ever experienced. No walleye no smb and not even a perch or catfish. Man i tried it all. Water was real cold like 62. Do you guys ever fish the snake river out by pomeroy area. I will be hunting out there in a couple weeks and might go a couple days early just to try for smb and do so pre scouting from the boat before my hunting party shows up. Like to catch a few if you have any info.

The northwest bass championship was just held on banks 22-23. wining weight was 31.46. 71 boats on the water. Looks like many did pretty good from what they posted. But who knows how hard it was to fish. Iam not heading over again till that smoke clears.
