hey all,
I was wondering what the best color original senko is for catching bass, thanks, Luke
One of my favorite things to do is fish for bass. My favorite setup is a G-Loomis GL2 popping with a Abu Garcia Revo SX bait caster.

and I"m partial to dark colors in general, with any sparkle flakes. Watermelon, very dark blues, browns, etc.
The most un-interesting colors. I have never gone with the wild colors, brights, etc.

Also try the wacky rigged style. At least early in the season. Probably would go with topwater baits now, or faster moving presentations.

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Junebug is always one of my favorites. Some of my other favs:

Green pumpkin magic
Bama Bug
Peanut butter and jelly laminate
Red shad laminate
mad melon
smoke w/red & blue flake

But then I'm a soft plastics whore... I probably have close to 150 un-opened packs in my backup box in the fishing room.

Smoke with purple flakes. Wacky rigged with an O-ring. I've never been skunked with this one.

Yeah the o-ring + wacky rig senko kills 'em no matter if the bite is shy or red hot.
