yeah I might have ran out of good eggs but they sure do like my yarn haha. I was thinking at my super duper secret hoe that green spinners might work or even purple. 25/15 for me like previously said.

20/20? You'd save lots of 1oz cannon balls and spend more time in the water if you went with a lighter # leader material than your main line.

15 or 20 pound main, 15 or 12 pound leader, half oz. to 1 oz. cannon ball, 1/0 or 2/0 hook and dark collor corkie and yarn. your choice on the line..i been doing just fine using 15 lb. main, 12 lb. leader, half oz. weight, and dark color corkie, and 1/0 hook. with a 5 foot leader.

I dont like to mess around with the fish, theres tons of people at my hole and i dont want to play the fish. I use 3/4 oz cannonballs. I catch my limit almost daily, theres only been 1 day so far that i havent got my limit this year.
Ive got this river dialed in. Thanks though

remember also the samish has WAYYY bigger fish, i would NEVER keep anything under 15 at the samish, usually the fish u and me walk out with are 20-30 pounds, much larger piggies

The Skok has big fish too, you just have to keep the first two you catch, so you can't pick and choose. I got one the other day must've been 20-25. On 10 pound test. I guess I always fish lighter than everyone else.

is it possible to get ticketed on this river below the 106 bridge? i think i pulled up 5-6 rigs all with barbed hooks, saw like 7 out of 8 people fishing straight up snagging (no even flossing) and people generally fishing like there was no law. i know this place has a reputation for being like this but i wanted to know if there was a reason. cuz if theres no tickets i might as well fish purdy cuttoff mid week.
