Fish in different seasons
hey im 12 and new to fishing and really want to get into fishing so i was wondering what kind of fish in lake washington you can catch during different times of the year. Thanks
Re: Fish in different seasons
Good question! It kind of depends on your situation regarding access to a boat or if you are strictly fishing from shore. When fishing from a boat, you can catch trout, perch, bass and the dreaded pike minnow year round. In general, the trout and spiny rays head in opposite directions regarding water temperature and depth. In the late spring and summer months the spiny rays and the carp will come into the shallower water to spawn and feed and this is when most people target them. They can be caught from shore at this time, especially if you can find a dock that extends out past the weed line a bit. In the late fall and winter months, the waters cool and the spiny rays head for the deeper parts of the lake while trout head for the shallower waters. You can catch rainbows and the occasional cutthroat trout from shore at this time. Please keep in mind that there are always exceptions to every situation, so it never hurts to experiment, which is what makes fishing fun.

Gman, I think he simply neglected to space between aton..........which would result in "a ton". Not aton meaning Anton. But nice to know your first name. Hello Gerhard.christianw wrote:Thanks so much that will help me aton
