I was fishing off of log boom park 3 days ago and caught a couple of perch with a peice of night crawler by jigging it and then letting it drop and sit and repeating that.

Nightcrawlers on a small hook will do the trick. Use a small bobber and fish it near the bottom.

hotdog on small hook about a foot under the bobber. And if you get hungry you can eat the rest of the hotdogs. Dont be to discouraged, the weather has been kinda to hot and sunny latly.

Welcome! If you live anywhere near Gene Coulon Park. Fish next to the ivars. The perch are there now. The recommendation of worms and small hooks is perfect. I took a few seniors there not too long ago and they did fine. I just haven't had a chance to post a report on it. Good luck!
